Out and about in the Community:
Divisions 803 and 804 went on a field trip to discover the history of Fort Langley. Students followed maps, and learned about buildings and locations, some 125 years old. They compared the community then and now using historic information and photos and architectural details. The Blacksmith Bakery that now sits where Reids garage once was, generously provided a delicious treat for us all, lemon Madeleines and answered our questions about French baked goods. Thanks to the Centennial Museum for the fun field trip and Blacksmith Bakery for the Madelienes. They were magnifique and we all enjoyed our day!
